Just added it to my Christmas wishlist!

From Elk Accessories

I think it's too late, but I've just sent my mother and sister a link to these online because they are gorgeous; whimsical and delicate. I think the blue is my favourite.

Pretty in pink all seasons of the year.

From Google Images

My absolute, all-time favourite colour is pink. And in recent years, my mother's been having 'bright colour' Christmas, with pinks, teals and purples - you can bet I've been dragging as many pink things in as possible. There's something more fun and more summery about bright colours than the traditional red and green.

We could definitely do with a new wreath, as well - we used one I made in Grade 2 up until about two years ago. Let's just say that that wreath could legally drink any where in the world before it was respectfully retired.

You don't know how much I'd love a white Christmas

From Venucci

I've never had a white Christmas, since I live in Australia and it's summer over here. And I'm sure anyone who does celebrate Christmas in the winter finds it as miserable as I find the heat some days, but with snowflakes like that, I'd love to have just one white Christmas some time in the future.

One of the first things I added to my wishlist.

From Belle & Boo

I love bunnies. I have three of my own. I really don't care if this pillow is designed for little kids, it's got a place on my bed ready and waiting.

23 sleeps until Christmas!

From Slice of Cake at Deviantart

I love cupcakes, and I've just mastered baking cupcakes - I'm not much of a cook ^_^ I know they aren't 'traditional' Christmas sweets, but these are so beautiful, they make me want to break-out the patty-pans.

A combination of real life issues has dragged me away from the internet for the foreseeable future. I hope to be back in time to post lots of lovely Christmas things!

More loveliness from Etsy

I've followed Aranwen's work on Deviantart for a long time and she just makes the most beautiful, intricate pieces I've seen; I've never seen anything like her watches. But since I discovered her Etsy shop, I've fallen in love with this necklace; it's elegant and feminine, with an old-fashioned air. :sigh: So many beautiful things, so little time.

Shady Lady

Did I mention my favourite colour is pink? I'll promise to find some non-pink items next week. And these gorgeous parasols come in four colours, and five other designs. I find them utterly and completely gorgeous in any colour and think there would be nothing lovelier than walking through the park with this parasol in early summer.

Pretty as a picture

From Extraseed

Despite spending most of my time coveting a varied selection of heels and stilettos, I live in my ballet flats. I love ballet flats - not only are they comfy, there's something that makes you feel inherently pretty and feminine when you wear them; even the name exudes a certain daintiness.

These ones I love especially, since this partcular pair are eco-friendly and vegan - and I am an advocate of responsible manufactoring. The fact these are eco and beautiful just proves that anyone not making eco things pretty isn't trying hard enough.

New Beginnings

When I decided I wanted to restart this blog, I wiped the old posts and knew exactly what my first post needed to be.

From Lazybones Australia

::sigh:: The room itself looks like it might have potential, but my true love is the bedspread. My sister actually owns a pale pink version that has to be the best part of a decade old, and I know first-hand that this bedspread is amazingly soft jersey fabric, and in enough colours that I have spent an indecent amount of time on the website contemplating what colour would suit the decorating plans for my bedroom.

Tragically, they've more than doubled the price since my sister purchased hers. Still, it's definitely going on my birthday wishlist (I think I've finally settled on the 'organic' colour, with the cherry-coloured cushions).
